Does anyone have anything to say about this (Destroyer Lord + Lightning Fields with a lot of Scarabs..)???

Some I have spoken tohave told me this is too old skool a tactic to work-true???

Struck me people might not get it..so here is the tactic (AFAIR)....
1. Roll up to enemy with Scarabs and Destroyer Lord + Lightning Field (LF), Proceed to CC

2. Each hit by enemy causes an automatic hit back (S6 I think) due to LF

3 Enemy suffers high number of hits due to Lord/Scarabs/LF

Rince/ Repeat...

Its a STR3 hit caused in return, not a STR6 hit.

Also, it is only for wounds taken by the enemy.

If you're in assault and get hit 25 times, 13 of which cause wounds, you deal 13 STR3 wounds back.

I wouldn't encourage the tactic though - STR6 weapons from bugs that you're referring to instakill scarab bases; and while you'll cause one STR3 wound back to a T6 monster, you'll lose a base and take 3 wounds towards combat resolution, and after you resolve fearless saves, your Lord is going to take some hits. ><

It sounds great until you think about the fact that a S3 hit does not go very far, and if you deal out a lot of S3 hits, they you have lost combat by a whole lot. It just does not work very well.
