Subject: Searching for ideas for Praetorian CCS.

Well,I'm almost done painting my first platoon for my Praetorians, and was thinking that before beginning on a second platoon,Vets or any tanks,I'd begin work on a company command squad.
However,I'm searching for some ideas for something different then simply using yet another Praetorian command blister to represent my CCS,I plan to add the mini bellow (with some alterations) and would like ideas on other possibilities, the minis don't have to be GW,just have to have that certain "regal" appearance.
Thanks for any input.

umm, yeah. Just add a pith helmet, and paint him in bright colors. Voila! Instant praetorian.
GSing some mutton chops or a moustache to hide the model's hare lip would also be a good idea.

Thanks Ailaros, but those were the ideas I already had for the pictured mini (should have specified that),what I was searching for was some ideas for other minis...other than the one pictured.

You could try something like:
http://www.copplestonecastings.co.uk/range.php?range=DA From http://www.copplestonecastings.co.uk/range.php?range=DA
May be on the small side though, proper scale
Or these guys http://empressminiatures.com/page2.htm
Probably not as elegant as The GW mini but may add more character.

Well, with just a little bit of time with the gimp, I was able to make this mock-up of what it would look like with a pith and a stache (assuming your praetorians are blue):

I think the officer of the fleet and master of ordinance advisers could make good proxies for a commander, especially if you add a pith helmet and some additional weapons. For the master of ordinance you could ditch the comm-backpack and perhaps greenstuff a powerfist on the extended arm. He already has something that looks like carapace armor, and that holster on the hip could easily house a bolt or plasma pistol.
The officer of the fleet has a regal, pompous look about him which would also work for a Praetorian commander. His lack of weapons is problematic but perhaps you could convert a body guard to act as a sword bearer or some other living weapons rack.

Thanks Ailaros, that looks exactly like what I'm going for,my Praetorians are Red,but still I like how that looks.
@ DarkTraveler.
Definitely agree the Officer of the fleet would work nicely, and the idea about a sword bearer would work perfectly, the Master of ordinance looks promising as well.
