Any Comments welcome! Basically the runepriest in the rhino to provide cover saves for the razorbacks and 1 runepriest to sit back with the firebase and provide cover save or living lightning shots.

Thats a pretty typical mech spam list.

Sometimes it's really nice to take the LC/TLPG on the razorbacks, it helps when someone deep strikes terminators, or drops some heavy infantry next to you. Specially since you don't have any power weapons or power fists.

Im not 100% sure where your second rune priest is going...I assume in the rhino with the first one?

Either way, nice theoretical list you whipped up here.

If I was fighting this army. I would try to single out squads of tanks while avoiding LoS with the others (by which I mean you can't draw LoS through your own tanks unless they're in a squadron. So you having THAT many tanks might be your downfall in some cases because LoS issues and depending on the terrain.

First off, the Rune Priests have identical wargear, which is illegal. You need to take a Meltabomb or something on one of them to make them different.

Second, why would you run a Rune Priest on foot with your otherwise mechanized fire base? There is nowhere for him to go, and it's pretty easy for an opponent with a Missile Launcher to get an angle on him and pick him off for an easy kill point. If you want him on foot, take a pack of Long Fangs for him to hang out with as extra fire support and ablative wounds. Otherwise he is a liability.

Other than that, the list looks like a relatively standard mech gunline, if a little light on Melta. Perhaps consider dropping two of the Typhoons for MM/HF Tornadoes to bring some fast melta in, then drop the second Rune Priest for another Rifleman Dread?

Thanks for pointing that out Aldarionn! Some good points I will look into them thanks for the input. Whats your feelings on the Las/plas turrets? I feel the TL Las gives me a little bit more anti mech.

I use both. TL Las is more reliable for shooting, but LasPlas is a bit more competitive because it improves the resiliency of the vehicle and gives it some duality, as well as gives it a secondary weapon system in case one is destroyed. One-gun syndrome can leave your vehicles useless after a single bad result, so having a second weapon does help.

Again, I use both.

Dakka Preds aren't useful? I fail to see how giving them Lascannon Sponsions (I assume that's what you mean) makes them more useful. It changes their role, certainly, but considering the number of Lascannons currently in the list I doubt it's necessary to change them.

Why? All it does is give them a shorter range on a gun that's not likely to be used that often. If he gives them Multi-Meltas it would be wise to ditch the Typhoon Launchers for Heavy Flamers as well, but I already suggested that for a pair of them.

I don't mean to sound rude, but it does help to back up your suggestions with the reasoning behind them.

Thanks for the input. Yeah I wanted to use dakka preds soley on that fact that I have so many Las shots already.

When Im playing my lasplas razorbacks, I always curse them when my lascannons miss those money shots, wondering whether I should swap them for tl-las, but tbh having two weapons instead of one is a huge boost. Weapon Destroyed results don't hurt you as much. I'd certainly also try to swap the pred for long fangs, in which the second rune priest can hang out.
