I have been working on my Salamander army and I have been wanting to included scouts and a Librarian, but I would prefer not to have their skin showing to avoid the debate on correct skin color. I am also trying to paint them onyx black because I think it looks silly.

I was curious if any one had any ideas or conversions for scouts so that they would not have any skin showing, or if you have any bit heads that you would recommend? Pictures would be appreciated!

Also, I am wanting to included a Librarian with a helmet, but I have not had much luck finding any other than the new forge world scorpion Liberian that is amazing, but a little expensive when I only need the one guy.

After market heads with fully enclosed helmets would work well. I would recommend something from Pig Iron, either the heavy infantry or the System Trooper heads would probably work best on Marine scouts.

For scouts the elysian drop troup helmets with resperators work nicely.

If the librarian is in power armour you can build him out of plastics and use the "trimmed down shoulder pad as psycic hood" conversion... then you can choose whatever head you like!
