Subject: Who can still use the Auspex

SO I was looking for the Auspex scanner and it is not in my Space Marine Codex and as I looked threw the forums here I found that it was left out of 5th edition it seems. Are there any factions within the Imperium that can still use it? And because it isn't in the SM book 5th edition does that mean all the models that have one can no longer use it?
Oh and what did it actually do since it isn't in my codex?
Thanks

WH/DH have access to it still, from memory.
If it's not in your codex you cant use it, unless you can bring in allies which do use it. Again WH/DH paper copies have these rules.

It let the unit with it shoot at any infiltrators that were within a certain range of the auspex before the game started. I don't think there are any modern armies with it, aside from the horribly outdated daemon and witch hunter codices.

So Grey Knights can still run it, thats awesome. But thats about it....lovely. That seems to be a nice abilty to. Alright and I was under the impression this is what the Signum does, so now I'm confused, or maybe the clarity is there. The signum from the Dev Sgt. lets your Devestator squad measure before declaring the ranged attack target.

No, the signum just lets you take one shot at BS5 as long as the sergeant is alive, instead of his shot.

Okay thanks for clearing both of those up. Wow BS5, meaning you need a 2 to hit oh snazzy.

Black Templars and their horribly outdated Codex can use it too I think.
