Busy somewhere, airin' out the skin jobs.

I had High hopes once I started constructing my new Dark Eldar army. As everyone who's had a mech DE list in the past knows...they've always been HELL to transport if you're using several raiders/ravagers. Traditional transport methods simply dont cut it.

By high hopes, I mean that the Aethersails seemed to be removable...until i realised that the peice fit so tightly it was only a matter of time until it broke off during removal, (it did) causing me to have to glue the peice or pin it with a metal post that in all probablitity wouldnt fit correctly and cause the sail to sway or simply fall out.

...so I just glued the peice.

So, effectively, raiders are going to be pretty big models to transport.

So, assuming you have 6-8 raiders and 3 Ravagers with accompanying troops. What will be the best way to Transport them? Does Battlefoam have an answer to this in the form of a single transport case? Or will one have to go to a "rifle" case for the vehicles and a simple GW case for the guys like DE Mech players have generally done in the past?

Anyone got an answer?

I have never failed to seize on 4+ in my life!

battlefoam have 2 6" thick trays, one for carrying 5 raiders and one for carrying 3 ravagers and 2 raiders. Both of these will fit inside a PACK 720 but you will need a seperate case for infantry

Feldherr make good foam trays and bgs as well, not sure what your stockists are like in the US though. The 5mm pluck foam is ideal as you can get them to fit very snugly without having to cut....

Or if you want it all in one case, you can get a PACK 1520 from battlefoam.

Mine stores 13 raiders, 3 ravagers, Asdrubael Vect, all my independent characters, warriors, wyches, beasts, and 12 reaver jetbikes, with a full tray that can hold 40-50 models still empty.
