Just want to get a general idea from other people if this would be ok. I plan on using 2 of them, 1 of each of the forgeworld ones as soulgrinders for my tournament army. Whether it be GT's or local tournaments.l

I voted yes, but I would also caution you that in a tournament setting, you may not want to take cover saves, as that will be where the problem lies, with their height discrepancy.

I have no problem with it. It is a game. I actually applaud it, since you are supporting FW and putting nicer models on the table.

Ya I feel that height will be the only problem with the model. Width wise it should be fine.

I think they look bitchin and would be good with it, but like others said, the height may be an issue as some people may feel you are modeling for advantage. You may want to put them on a base with some cork board modeled to look like rocks which will elevate them an inch or so and should solve the problem.

I have some cork board too, so if you want to go that route just let me know and you can have some. It is easy to use and looks pretty sweet. The only downside to that is that it would look different than your other models, although you could put some on the bases of your other guys, too.

Anyway, that is just an idea.

They're great models.
I play against them regularly, though, and (IMO) they're WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too small to properly represent Soul Grinders.

Ya i figured that would be the only problem after seeing some pictures. I pmed the guy thats running the Sprue Poss GT to see what he thinks, so i guess i'll go from there.

But ya i was thinking about using the large oval bases you get from vendettas as there bases. Adding the cork board is a great idea. If your ok with letting me have some and even helping me out a bit, that would be great. Im sure if I tell them I will raise it in height a little they will be ok with it.

I have seen the pictures, and like i have said before i realize the height problem. But im sure with a oval base a little work on the legs and some cork board. It should be fine.

I based my defiler and plague hulk - if you want a 'like' sized base, I'd advise you to go with 120mm (CD sized) rather than oval.

I think im going to stick with the oval base. Seeing as theres no such base size that is larger in 40k.
