I have been wanting to get some riders of the dead to use in LOTR and WOTR just b/c the army of the dead is very thematically interesting. I got 2 of the actual riders of the dead for Xmas early, but don't want to spend the money to get more of them at 15 bucks a pop.

I have a box of Riders of Rohan that i have not assembled yet, and am thinking i might try converting them into Riders of the dead.... and just wondered if ya'll had any ideas... i'll post some pics when i get em started up

Simple: Just paint those Rohan guys Skull White (or any other white you have, I personally don't see a difference), highlight them with a form of green (your choice) & if you really want to spice things up, make them look like they are decaying or something.

Or you can simply buy a WHFB Vampire Counts Black Knight, that costs just 1$ less.

Maybe pick up a box of ten mantic skeletons for cheap and use their bits to deadify the riders?

i actually did grab a few Reaper Skeletal Cavalry and used them to help "deadify" the riders... have a couple on skeletal horses, and then put skulls for a couple of their heads...
