Hello, this will be a log of my Iyanden Army as I try to get it ready for a tournament in February,

Unfortunately I'm a pretty slow painter so this should act as motivation to get it done. I'm still learning painting skills so will be trying to use highlighting and attempting to do some blending here and there, but nothing fancy. There will be a fair bit of free hand though as I love doing it, and feel it adds a lot of personalisation.

So here is a test model for the Dire Avengers, although the army will be Iyanden I experimented with yellow Dire Avengers and struggled to get it to work, so decided to do my Aspect Warriors in their native colours; i'll save the yellow heartache for the guardians. As you can see its still a work in progress, as not all the highlights are finished, and the banner needs a lot more work, but overall I'm happy so far.

Here's another WIP shot, which is their Wave Serpent transport. I feel it looks better in RL as the yellow looks bland in the photo, but still a fair bit of work to go on it.

Unfortunately I decided to run a seer council on jetbikes, so here's my basic attempt to convert a Warlock;

And below is my army so far;

Looks good. Neat and clean WIP. Two more months until February. Time to rev up that painting engine.
