I'll modify a bit a couple of things. HQ - Vulkan. 190 EL - Assault Terminators TH/SS - LRR+MM. 450 TR - 10x Tacticals - PF - flamer - MM - Rhino. 230 TR - 10x Tacticals - PF - flamer - MM - Rhino. 230 FA - Land Speeder HF/MM. 70 FA - Land Speeder HF/MM. 70 HV - Vindicator - Siege Shield. 125 HV - Vindicator - Siege Shield. 125 Tot. 1490, 10 points to place yet. Vindicators aren't exactly the more logical choice (as in all the Vulkan lists) because you really need any sort of long range support fire. Predator with AC and LCs maybe are a good alternative. Nevertheless consider the tactic. If you'll advance fastly in the firsts turns you'll can screen the 2 Rhinos with the Land Raiders and the 2 Vindicators, all of them good vehicles if in good range (talking about fire output) and with the best average frontal and side armor available in the codex, excpeciallly the LR obviously. After that, when finally inbetween 24" from the enemy, you'll can really make havoc with the Vindicators and all the Meltas. Anyway.. even if one of the best character in the Vanilla codex (for the bonus he brings), Vulkan looks a little too much pricy at 1500 points. Have you considered a Libby Terminator?

I do not honestly agree with this statement but, maybe, it's just up to me..
Preds are alwais good, more "weapon destroyed" results available and more targetting possibilities.
A good Pred setup is Autocannon+Lascannons on sponsons (120p) but, there's alwais a but, it doesn't fit well with the rest of the army.
Consider the whole group of units, they all need to come inbetween 24" from the enemy to became effective (multimeltas on Rhinos/ LR/Land Speeders/etc, TL bolters if with a Crusader..).
So, why not add another 24" shooting unit that will cohoperate with all the others shooting points?
Otherwise, if with Preds, I'll advice you a sensible change of the list.

Standard Vulkan list really.
Change the Redeemer to a Cruasder, they're a lot better and you could move at 6" and fire everything which all weapons have a 24" range
I think you've spent too many points on Land Speeders, you only need two. I've drop the power fists from the Sgts as flamers are anti troop, power fists anti tank, with the fists and Speeder dropped you may get another troop choice.
Heavy support you lack long range fire power, although Vindicators are cool and match the short ranged fire power of the army as a whole you do really need some long range fire power; auto/las Predators.

Consider to grow up the number of valid units as the point level grow up too. In anycase, there's an endless list of other armies that will nuke down yours troops faster than light right now so consider seriously to sacrifice something for a third troop solution.

Faced a very similar list to this the other day. My buddy ran this:
Captain (Relic Blade, Meltabombs) - 135
5 Assault Terminators ( TH/ SS) - 200
10 Tactical Marines (Plasma Cannon, Meltagun, Razorback) - 220
10 Tactical Marines (Plasma Cannon, Meltagun, Razorback) - 220
10 Tactical Marines (Plasma Cannon, Meltagun, Razorback) - 220
Land Raider (Multi-Melta, Extra Armor) - 275
Vindicator - 115
Vindicator - 115
Total 1,500
It did relatively well but did lack some ranged anti-tank that we thought would have been solved by changing the Vindicators for AC/ LC Predators. My 1,500 Space Wolves demolished the list, but primarily due to some absurd dice luck on my part and some really crappy morale tests on his part. His Terminators lost 2 members after I blew up his Land Raider and the unit failed morale and ran off the board, along with a Tactical Squad in the same turn. Also his Vindicators missed a lot more than they statistically should have.
I think A great alternative build would be:
Vulkan - 190
5 Assault Terminators ( TH/ SS) - 200
10 Tactical Marines (Missile Launcher, Meltagun, Combi-Melta) - 220
10 Tactical Marines (Missile Launcher, Meltagun, Combi-Melta) - 220
Land Speeder (Multi-Melta, Heavy Flamer) - 70
Land Speeder (Multi-Melta, Heavy Flamer) - 70
Land Raider (Multi-Melta, Extra Armor) - 275
Predator (Autocannon, Sponsion Lascannons) - 120
Predator (Autocannon, Sponsion Lascannons) - 120
Total 1,485
That gives you 15 points to play around with, and has all the bases covered. Perhaps a Power Weapon on one of the Tactical Sergeants or Dozer Blades on their Rhinos and a Meltabomb, or even Razorbacks instead of the Rhinos. Of course at that point the squads cannot fit in their transports but the list is already something of a gunline so it might not matter.

I don't think the auto-las preds fit too well with this list. The tacs will be advancing with the termies, which means that you're leaving 2 13/11/10 vehicles in your backfield. at 1/6th of your points you can't really afford to eat that loss. I'd use vindies. They'll be advancing with the raider which means you're not as spread out. If they intend to shake/stun 2 av 13 vehicles first turn, then your raider will likely live. If the raider gets focused down, then you have 2 demolisher templates to land.

My secondary list was meant as a suggestion for your list, mainly due to the wargear allocation and selection of Land Raider, which I think is more effective in that configuration, but that other list was similar enough to my friends list that I wanted to include it in the comments.
Either way, my suggestion is meant as an adjustment to your primary list

Looks like most Vulkan lists. I am a huge fan of the Redeemer. Yes the Crusader can move 6 and fire everything, but if you are carrying termies you are probably going to move more than 6 to get them delivered to their intended target.

I think the crusader fits the predator, but is in conflict with vulken and the meltas.
Swap out the preds for vindicators, and the LRC for a LRR. then with the remaining points put comibmeltas on the sgts of the tacticals. Now you have tacticals that can position themselves and have a turn of 2 melta shots while moving. Vindicators fit better with LRRs I think. Both fit better with the tacticals, and vulkan.

Thanks for the comments guys. The reason why i have preds in the list is that I need that long range fire support. For example, if i was playing guard player he could just waste volley after volley of fire into my army while it tires to get in range but with the tanks i can take out heavy-fire units in his army and allow my main force an easier path.

Common misconception. Trying to out-shoot a guard player is like trying to out-swim a fish, especially at long range. If you just advance everything turn 1 and pop smoke, then you'll be in range with all your guns turn 2 anyway. Moving everything and leaving 2 preds to shoot is asking to get them blown off the board.
After that, who cares if the transports pop. You're on him anyway, and you'll crush him in CC. If the vindies pop, then eh at least everything else made it.

The goal is not to try and out gun him but to remove heavy hitting targes like basilisks. Anyone have any other thoughts?
