HQ:
Vulkan (190)
Librarian (125) w/ Terminator Armor
ELITES:
Assault Terminators x5 (200) w/ Thunder Hammer/Storm Shield x5
Land Raider Redeemer (250) w/ Multimelta (Dedicated Transport)
Dreadnought (105) w/ Multimelta, CCW
Drop Pod (35)
Dreadnought (105) w/ Multimelta, CCW
Prod Pod (35)
TROOPS:
Tactical Squad x10 (180) w/ Flamer, Missile Launcher, Combi Flamer
Rhino (35)
Tactical Squad x10 (180) w/ Flamer, Missile Launcher, Combi Flamer
Rhino (35)
Scouts x5 (100) w/ Sniper Rifles, Missile Launcher, Camo Cloaks x5
HEAVY SUPPORT:
Devasators x5 (150) w/ Missile Launcher x4
Drop Pod (35)
Predator (120) w/ Lascannon Sponsons
Predator (120) w/ Lascannon Sponsons
TOTAL: 2000
So pretty much the Dreads come in turn one from a Drop Pod and hopefully take out some armor, and distract the enemy until my Tac Squads and Termies show. The Devastators use the third pod, but deploy normally turn one so it is only Vulkan coming down turn 2 or 3 (If its possible to wait) and he will join close combat with the Termies, or run around with the Tac Squads.
The Devastators provide Anti Tank fire support while sitting back with the scouts and predators.
The Librarian will go with the LRR and Assault termies and wreak havoc.
How does this list sound? Do you think I should swap out my scouts for some MM Speeders?
EDIT: Also, another thing I was thinking of doing was keeping the Devs in the Drop Pod with Vulkan and then dropping them mid field with multimeltas instead. (They would benefit from the tiwn linked melta rule)

Well, looks quite good.
I'd give the Librarian a storm shield and the LR extra armor.
I'd drop the Dev's Pod empty onto an objective if necessary.

Eatra Armour on the LR and HF's on the Dreadnoughts are almost necessary in my eyes.
Overall I like the list but I'm not too keen on Vulkan running about on his own and the Dev's just look a little soft. I do like the idea of dropping down with Vulkan and meltering things but I think sternguard with combi-weapons would be better.
5 sternguard with Combi-melters = same as the Devs.
Plus its more fluffy and fun =]

Ahh Sternguard! Good Idea, I will work that in right now, along with extra armor on the LR. But I feel as if HF's would be a bit redundant, unless I can get an Ironclad (They can take them right?) Would you suggest that?

Another good point, I'm not sure I would be willing to drop the Dreads either, I don't want a full Drop army.
Also, Vulkan would detach from the Dev's and run up to join a tac squad once dropped.

Well, three Pods is ideal. You could drop both Dreads in 1st turn and let the other Pod come later to where you want it.

Thats the plan, The two dreads drop in first turn and melta up some heavy tank/transports, now the other player should need to focus a lot of fire on just 210 points, all while my main army comes riding up, then second turn Vulkan drops in and will join the combat by attaching to a tac squad when they hop out. OR I could drop the devs for an assault squad or something in a drop pod that will come in with vulkan.

I'd attach Vulcan to a squad of 5 (tactical) Termies. More bang for the bucks.

Ummm...
Devs in a drop pod with ML's? What?
Why is Vulkan even in this list?
One land raider is a big bullseye.
I would swap the ml's for mm's in the tac squads and just drop the combi-flamers. Drop the dev squad and get mm/hf speeders.
That's just for starters.

Well, the Dev's Pod will drop empty and will allow the other two Pods to arrive in 1st turn.
Vulkan helps with all those flamers and meltas.

He has 3 MM's and flamers on his tac squads. Let's just say if the tac squads are using their flamers, either the game is in hand or it's out of hand. Either way, having Vulkan in this list seems kind of a waste of points.
Taking a pod just so you can drop 2 dreads for mm shots seems to be another waste of points.

At least its some kind of tactics prior to the game.

If that is sufficient tactics to get him a win, then I doubt he needs to worry to much about beating whatever opponent he is playing.

In fact, I'd drop the Dev's and give one Tactical a Pod instead of a Rhino. This would make the army smoother since now it would be fully mech. This would allow to include two Speeders with multimelta and heavy flamer reflecting the Vulcan style.

I apologize for the late response, my computer has been crashing just about every 15 minutes.
I feel that Wuestenfux cleared up pretty much what I was going to say...
Scouts/Devs are there to hold objectives in the back field, I have no problem with dropping the scouts, but I feel that the devastators will provide decent fire support in cover, I see what you mean by the full mech list though. Also, if I made it the other way around, from my experience, for 100 points scouts do their job well, they have not attracted a lot of fire at all in any of the games I've played, and with Telion (If included) they can pick off SGTs w/ Power fists.
If I do give a tac squad a pod, would it still be as effective? a Rhino and a Land Raider moving up the field isn't to difficult to deal with. At least with the two Rhino's I can give a save for my Land Raider if the enemy does decide to split his fire to the Dreads and Transports.
I don't have a huge problem with Land speeders, I dont want to drop a necessary unit for them though, in my opinion scouts would be more useful than land speeders in objective games.

Would that suggest I need to take a tactical squad in a drop pod? Furthermore, I would need to find a spot to put Vulkan then, like taking only 9 Tac Marines with no wargear in a pod right?

Well, indeed, I'd give one Tactical a Drop Pod instead of a Rhino.
How many models fit into a Pod?`I think 12.

The transport capacity of SW and BA Pods is different - that's pretty strange.
The LRR should be fine if you launch smoke in 1st turn - against a shooty opponent.

I would rather have a tac squad in a razorback for that, but I can see your point. Devs can't hold objectives.

One rhino can give the LR a cover save from one facing. Move the rhino and pop smoke, move the LR behind it. Move the LR and pop smoke. Hopefully by then you will have reached your destination and unloaded the termies.

Vanilla Pods hole 12 models, or a thunderfire cannon OR a dread.
Sounds good, I'll try this list out sometime this week.
