What a day!...kids up and very excited before 6:00 A.M.,an avalanche of gifts,all with some assembly required or Batteries not included, "Why won't this work Daddy?"..."Try turning it on Son.".
Making breakfast for a dozen people while attempting to install batteries into various toys and answer a barrage of related questions,followed by a massive Dinner preparation while assorted Christmas specials drone on in the living room accompanied by the constant gleeful roar of my children.
Can't say I didn't have a great Christmas...but god I need a drink or twelve.

I am both selfish and chaotic. I value self-gratification and control; I want to have things my way, preferably now. At best, I'm entertaining and surprising; at worst, I'm hedonistic and violent.
Up at 7am to eat breakfast with girlfriend's mom, then it's off to my uncle's house for family lunch, then to girlfriend's dad's house for more food, then to my grandmother's house for even more food. And of course everyone is serving prime rib so I nearly ate myself into a food coma...
