Hey guys,

A while ago I painted my first Eldar model that I'd bothered to photograph here:
http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/333013.page

Well since then I've been a busy bee... I am trying to rush out a 500 point army to be ready in time for January and I've made pretty good progress: All that remains are three Rangers, some finishing highlights to my Wave Serpent, and my War Walker. I'll get pics up when whole units are finished

At any rate, submitted for your judgement... please do take a peek at these guys!

The Dire Avengers were painted (in a fairly rushed manner) according to GW's guide on the site...

Aaaand the only unique(ish) thing about this Farseer was that I painted the arm armour as Flesh... because I think it looks better His robe isn't purple in real life but my mobile's camera seems to hate him for some reason!

Automatically Appended Next Post:
I suppose the Farseer could use some more extravagant robes: I'd love to apply a thorny border or something but I'll want the army 100% painted and on the tabletop before I start adding neat trimmings like that!

Your avengers are very good, I notice the use of guardian bodies very well done! The Farseer could do with a wash, I'm not sure what though...

It was suggested to me down GW that I use Baal Red... but I don't have any

That's not creativity on my part with the Avengers They're old models off of eBay... It seems that old DAs were just Guardians with a metal rag on their torso and a metal head.

I have swapped the old Exarch with a Guardian so I can use a Guardian body to make an extra avenger though (the old Exarch was poorly put together with excessive superglue and I want to magnetise myself a new one)

Hey Henners! you may wanna try lookin into getting some Wood Elf Heads...some of the female heads work VERY well on Eldar female models, i.e with the gaurdian bodies, ill show some in my thread later, as i made two for my gaurdian squad

I had thought about it and dismissed the idea as I figured they wouldn't have any armour/helmet parts like an Eldar head should... then I realised that the bare Guardian heads don't have any either (suggesting the helmet's completely removed) so yeah... good idea

Might consider nicking one to rip off your Farseer conversion as nobody seems to have this Blood Bowl Cheerleader I am after :(

Looks good, especially considering that it's a rushed job.
