Be a bit more specific: What Craftworld are you going for, for starters.

You could paint them bright orange. Don't see bright orange minis that often. Or maybe pink and green stripes.

Yes. Pink and Green stripes IS how most seer councils are painted nowadays. If you don't paint them as such, they'll look silly.

I agree. Also dont forget about buny ears, because they are use to distract enemy and gain adventage.

So you want Saim-Hann?

Why didn't you post that link in your first post?
Why didn't you post what you had already done?

Why not just take a look round the internet or better yet, use google or get the codex or look round the Dakka gallery.

The main craft worlds are(excuse the spelling):
Ulthwe - Black
Alaitoc - Blue
Saom-Hann - Red
Biel Tann - Green/white
Iyanden - Yellow

There are plenty of interesting schemes, that are far more easily found, than by posting a thread.

Lol Burning you do not need to chew him out. And Feforfar, the best way to learn is to experiment. I rarely ever follow a tutorial to the letter, and usually deviate after the basecoatting.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.

I really like Ulthwe colours, however i use more bone type colour than black. Which ever you go with its only a guide, make them your own by trying diffrent schemes.

Or look at the above, its not for the Seer Council but it is the guide for how they painted the Guardians. Then use Bleached bone for the inside of the cloaks.

As for the blades looks like they basecoated with Hawk Turquoise then used Ice Blue and Skull White on them.
