Calculating Commissar

So, when I decided it was time to paint this winter break, and when I decided that I need to work on my assembled models, this is what came out. Taken on an itouch camera, the quality sucks, but I can get my point across.

Here is my "Trench Sentinal". I call it a trench sentinel because it is falling ove... BENIDNG over for cover. I mounted the hunter-killer missile on the back, which seemed like a better place to put it with the big gap in the engine block. My IG regiment is meant for urban combat, so a sentinel bending over isnt to far out of place.

Same model, but from the top. I combined the armored and scout types, so it has the front armor of the heavy sentinel, but an open cab.

Platoon 1's commander, leader of the "Linemen". Squad will have 4 flamers, a commissar and a Power fist Platoon Leader.

He also has the little felt cap head, which I like a lot.

My "Marbo". Its the useless model you got in battle for macrage. Lt. Varius or something. Anyway, he is my regiments version of marbo, with a combat knife, demo charge and pistol.

My first guardsman that has been painted. Red armor, bleached bone clothing, tin bitz lasgun and detail work on his ammo packs. All washed in badab black. The picture dosen't show how nice this really looks.

Finally, my commissar. Paint with a mix of the regiment colors and the standard Commissar look that's in this season. The wash was a little too heavy, so it looks like his face is burned, but otherwise it turn out nice.

BONUS GROUP SHOT! From left to right, its platoon 1 squad 1, the Sentinel, Platoon 1's command squad "Linemen", "Marbo" and squad 2 for platoon 1.
I know the quality sucks, but I really don't know how I would do any better on an ipod camera. Any criticism would be great.

Can't really see anything from the pictures besides the first one and the very last one. The Sentinel is looking good so far.

Might want to look at this if you need help taking pics.
Don't need to be as detailed but it has some good points in it.
