Having just started a BA army I was re-reading the White Dwarf for their release when I noticed the Blood Talons on the DC Dreadnaught. Assuming these came in the Furioso Dreadnought kit I went onto the GW website thinking that there would be a photo showing the spruce or some information about what the model contained but couldn't find anything. Does anyone else know the answer?

There's thought to be some coming out with what seems to be a new Blood Angels dreadnought (Furioso/DC, rumoured to be including parts for a Libby dread too) in the BA second wave in Jan/Feb, alongside of course the Stormraven.
Also, Chapterhouse I think it is do some nice Blood Talons.

They may have just been minor conversions in WD?

The ones in the Codex looks like the claws from the old Bjorn Model. Havent seen the WD one, but I assume it's the same.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.

I know in at least one conversion GW has done, they took old Skaven swords and stuck them onto Dreadnought fingers.

Yeah, although IIRC that was for the Space Wolves, but it wouldn't surprise me if they had done the same for Blood Talons...

Hehehe, flying garbage truck. . .

That aside maybe they were the forgeworld ones? http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Warhammer-40000/Space_Marines/Space-Marine-Dreadnoughts/MK-IV-DREADNOUGHT-CLOSE-COMBAT-ARM-LEFT-ARM.html
Forgeworld makes a right & left arm version but I haven't seen the WD picture.

I would assume, as others have said; in tune with the second wave.

800 brethren and 2,000 other personnel were expected to reach Crows World within no more than 12 hours. They never arrived.

Let the Bell toll for those that encounter us, not for what we have encountered!
