Probably, battle fleet gothic is only a very small game so wouldn't be able to show everything.

Relictors: 1500pts

its safe to say that relictors are the greatest army a man , nay human can own.

...urrrr... I dunno

It's generally implied that the ships in Gothic are just the tip of the iceberg. They also mention that there are like a squillion transport ships, space tugs and whatnot that are so useless in a fight that they aren't worth giving more than one generic profile.

Waaagh! Gorskar = 2050pts
Iron Warriors VII Company = 1850pts
Fjälnir Ironfist's Great Company = 1800pts
Guflag's Mercenary Ogres = 2000pts

Almost certainly. A good example of this is in FFG's Rogue Trader RPG, there's a section for customizing your own ships and most of the types are very different from the fraction BFG shows.

So, its possible to have ship bigger than a retribution?

...urrrr... I dunno

Perfectly possible, but unlikely. There are a few examples, such as the Planet Killer and (in the HH novels) Horus' flagship, but they tend to be unique designs that tend not to crop up after their first outing.

More on par with an Eclipse class Star Destroyer.
Super Star Destroyer was smaller.

the SSd and Eclipse were long, but thin, so they would have the same amount of displacement to a retribution and emperor respectively.

Space hulks can actually get as large as a small planet, generating their own gravity well. Since a Space hulk is just a collection of ships and other space junk that have collided and merged, they're not really purpose made, but they still work.

There's also lots of different designs, and ships for different purposes. BFG mainly covers frontline military vessels. Then there's the ships that have no known origin, like the Blackstone Fortresses, and one-off ships, like the Planet Killer.

Plus who knows what toys the necron's have in storage that hasn't become active yet. But agreed ships of such a scale for most races are unique one off's or incredibly rare due to their size.

Also, the BFG Tyranid book says that the main Tyranid hive ships (which never really get seen, due to only being used in the final stages of an invasion) can dwarf Imperial battleships. So that earlier image, a hive ship could probably reach that size.

I have to smile at that picture, can anyone else who is familiar with the rules for BFG imagine what the rules for turning that beast would be? Or trying to come to a full stop? It would be a torpedo magnet and next to useless in the game. But I guess it's cool imagine.

Rule of cool all the way, it would be like the death star in ROTJ, it would just sit in the back lines taking potshots with a battery of incrediby over powerful guns that it nodoubt has
