Eternal Plague

Was watching tonight's 7:30 pm EST episode and it was the one where they did the golf-ball car and the hang over tests. It's a good episode, but not one of my favorites.

What are your favorite eposides or myths researched by they and why?

The 8 o'clock episode is now the beer goggles and Korean arrow launcher experiment.

Never seen it, but it looks promising.

The Non-Dairy Creamer cannon.

This actually inspired me to make a small rig, which for all intents and purposes, is now a home-made flamethrower that goes 10 feet in a direction of my choosing.

Thank you, Mythbusters, for helping my pyromania

Can't stand them.

It was tolerable when they were still testing actual myths not the "Lets blow gak up and call it science" stuff they have going now.

My personal favorite was the one where they tested the various scenes from the film "JAWS".
But I really enjoyed most of the episodes I've seen.

All of them are cool, but I liked the one where they tested to see if you could lift a kid into the air with a couple thousand baloons.

That wasn't very cool, but it was cool to watch them pop all the balloons at the end

The one with the ancient chinese myth of the guy who strapped rockets to his chair and went into space.

What a glorious explosion that was.

Yea the golf ball car was pretty surprising to me. Who would of thought.

My personal fav is the airliner engines blowing cars away. That was just awesome. I want to see that in person, and laugh until I puke

One of my favorite shows. About the only one I regularly watch. These last 6 months without it have sucked.

Everyone has so far listed some really good ones. I'd have to say one of my favorites was the one where they used phone books to bullet proof a car. Watching Kari firing the .50 cal was awesome.

I've only seen the one where they demonstrated that people wouldn't have been dragged down after the sinking Titanic... although they only demonstrated it with a small boat, so not sure that it was overly scientific.

I really like the miltary myths they come up with, especially when they get confirmed and anything that involves really hurting buster.

But yeah, not sure on actual fave, possibly when the 'Ask a Ninja' fella came on, just because I wasn't expecting it at all.

Oh yea I really liked that one as well. I was again surprised that you could get some minor bullet proofing with phone books (on hand guns of course) but still, thats something to think about.

And speaking of phone books, the unbreakable phone book one is easily my fav, now that I remembered it. Where they put 2 books together, and intertwined them page by page and it took 2 tanks to pull them apart. That was amazing.

Any episode will do really, as long as Jamie and Adam have their little moments of either arguing like little kids or have these long discussions that they always fast forward through, I always enjoy those.

Yea that was bad ass. I kept laughing simply from Jaime saying "whoops" when they blew the hell out of that thing. I wish I could say whoops and blow gak up like that too

Yea they do that at times. I still think they are doing the death ray wrong. Specially the last time with all those children doing it, WTF was that? They were getting pretty high readings still, and I bet a 1/4 or more were aiming at the cameras and other stupid things. I still dont think itll catch the boat on fire, but they still need to dial them in better.
