Since GW didn't really think this through, providing a decent FA choice with no model in their line-up, we are forced to be "creative" in our conversions of the thunderwolf cavalry. My questions for the inhabitants of dakka are....
...What model(s) did you use (It's ok if they aren't necessarily GW, I just need to know how much and where)
...What size base
...How often have you seen them substituted with vanilla marine attack bikes

I use a mix of chaos knight horses and hounds of chaos and normal CSMs. then again I am doing a chaos SW armie so that isnt much help to you worshipers of the false emperor lol

Mr. Dandy is what seem to be the cavalry of choice around the metro Detroit area and they look dam good too.

Mythicast is the cheapest option. I have seen their TWC up close and they look pretty good. I am going to make moves on them when I decide to reinforce my SW.

There is also for those with good converting skills the white lions from the high elves chariot
