I'll start off with two questions, though feel free to talk about anything to do with Warhammer Forge here:

Firstly, what do you intend to get?

Secondly, what do you hope they'll make?

I personally intend to get a Toad Dragon, Plague Toads, all the Chaos Dwarf war-machines and units, the Demi-Griffin and a Great Giant

I hope they make Thunder-Lizards, Phoenixes for High Elves, Units of Chaos Dwarfs, Dwarf Airships, an enormous Wyvern and Albion Giants

I'm going to be getting everything they make for the CD, unless I can make it better myself.

The other things will really depend on the design and price. The nurgle ogres for instance I could do better, but I really like the standard chaos ogre.

I'll get nothing until I see it.

And would it be too much to hope for some HE stuff? Maybe an awesome upgrade for the bolt thrower, or some new Maiden Guard models?

Maybe even.... *gasp* the Phoenix King?

/wishful thinking.

I just saw the current forge world giant (not the new warhammer forge stuff) in-person, and was very underwhelmed.

Is there a website where we can see "official" images of the new warhammer forge items? And release dates?

Feel free to direct me to the N&R thread, although I have read through it at various points and for some reason don't know the above information... maybe it's been updated since.

Was easier to find the thread on the Chaos Dwarf online Forum:

The Carmine dragon looks interesting. Shame, though, that it's always Chaos that gets the best looking models. :(

Anything Chaos Dwarf. Also, assuming they ever make them, anything Skaven.

I may also get that Demi-Griffon.

I'll be getting the carmine dragon for sure. I'll also end up getting most of the Empire stuff as one offs are fun to paint even if I don't play the army currently.

And it's not Chaos that gets all the goodies. It's Nurgle. 40k is the same barring space marines. Nurgle gets all the love from those boys.

I'd like to see special characters for every army come out. Hopefully some good conversion kits for everyone as well, as I prefer diversity in armies.

Simple things like new helms for bretonnians, weapons sprues for WoC, Generic helms that could be used in multiple armies like the Scibor helms. Scenery would be nice too.

I'm really hoping for some nice looking DE models, possibly an updated black dragon, and other steeds, like the dark pegasus. I imagine it'll be in 2-3 books time though that we see anything like that.

Of the models we've seen so far I don't think I'll get any as I don't play any of them, unless there's some individual characters I really want to paint...

Thanks for the link, Kroothawk! The very first model pictured turns out to be my favorite the skullcracker!!

That thing is fantastic, and will be sorely tempting... although the high price tag will probably keep me from getting it, since I could not use it.

Just a small update not really worthy its own news&rumour thread:

Just noticed that Forge World has upped a new webstore category "Warhammer Forge" with its own design and, alas, currently only a selection of the old models:

Very nice. Looking forward to what they have in store for us. I would be sorely tempted by chaos dwarfs.

They really should have named the fantasy version of Forgeworld "Vaul's Anvil", they are like the fantasy version of forgeworlds anyways, Warhammer Forge is just a lame name.
Oh well...enough rant and more wishlisting. If I decide to buy anything it would most likely be terrain, if they start making stuff like High Elf buildings that would be awesome.

*Edit* Spelling error, saved for the whole world of dakka to see in the post just after this one.

Thanks for the update Kroothawk. I've been wandering over there periodically and a little dismayed to see no mention of Warhammer Forge. Glad to see that somewhat rectified!

Why do I fail at spelling when its something that simple? For the love of Asuryan, I have played High Elves for three editions now!

A small but interesting confirmation in the new FW newsletter:
Warhammer Forge

As you may have noticed, the Warhammer section of the Forge World website has altered slightly in anticipation of the imminent launch of Warhammer Forge. We’re excited to announce that the very next Newsletter you receive will feature the first Warhammer Forge releases, which will be sent out alongside our usual Forge World newsletters so you don’t have to worry about signing up again. Stay tuned for more in the not-too-distant future…

Fffff.... I want to see better pictures of that dragon. I love the normal FW one, but if the Carmine one is better....
