Subject: Video Battle Reort - Tau vs Space Wolves 2000pts
Nice battle report, I liked the background music. The narration was also very good quality, straight to the point and well-spoken without a lot of nerdy quips (I've seen too many like this, they're hard to watch).
Fantastic looking Tau army too, I hope to see more battle reports of these guys tearing up the battlefield.

Nice report, but you guys rolled my least favorite mission with my least favorite deployment type! Capture and Control is known around here as the "Draw Mission" since it's so incredibly difficult to actually push a hunkered down opponent off of their objective or even contest if your opponent knows what they are doing. Most games end in a 1-1 draw or so I've seen.
I think the deployment type probably affected him a lot more than it affected you, but the Night Fight rules had to have been rough on both players in the early game.
I like how he used Dark Angels to represent Space Wolves. Considering the two chapters are bitter rivals, it's an amusing juxtaposition of rules and figures, especially with the Chaos Thunderwolves hehehe.
A well played game from both of you it looks like. Too bad about the mission type, but a great report nonetheless.

We generally play this mission with a 3rd objective. That objective is the first HQ unit to die, which makes for some interesting games and tends to reduce the number of draws!
Great battle report! What made it enjoyable to watch (I usually hate video battle reports) is you're enjoyable to listen too. Most video reports I watch are kids sniffiling a whole lot, or the muffling noise, and they cant hold a camera straight (I dont mind it shakey a bit, thats natural, but I don't want to feel like im watching blair witch project or cloverfield lol).
Great paint job on your Tau by the way, very enjoyable report!
One quick thing I did notice though, however it may have just been the way it was shown, at 8:35 when you were shooting at the wolf lords - again I don't know how the shooting phase went, or how many squads you had firing into it, but it looks like he distributed his wounds to his wolf lords. Page 26 under multiple wound models , 3rd paragraph - "...wounds may not be 'spread around' to avoid removing models" so he likely should have lost at least 2 guys there.
Overall, great report!
