We'll, hey ya'll.

So I had any army painted in a homebrew scheme and there was one thing that always bothered me, the lack of accesory details that armies such as Smurfs, Blood Angels, ect, have from GW and other third party producers. So I've decided to strip my whole army and repain them as Dark Angels.

Im currently in the stripping process and I am waiting for the spray can of "Angels Green" comming out on the 17th from Army Painter. As most of you know, the stripping process is very boring, though strikes up some funny conversations from the girlfriend when I tell her I'm stripping models.

This most likley will be a slow blog due to the fact that I'm a highschooler, and have a highschoolers income

So I'll be posting some pictures in about an hour of some of the converted and older models I have, right after I strip two squads of Termies.

Thanks, Duff

On a boat, Trying not to die.

I've looked at it. I like the captain with the wings. It is a nice steampunk element to a very steampunk-esq army. Great modeling, and I can't wait to see one of these painted.

Libby looks cool. You should probably turn the pics before posting them though. Super easy to do in Windows or Apple.

I feel you pain with the stripping process. I'm buying, stripping and selling stuff to get a few extra coins through Uni.

Rather than the spray cans for primers have you considered getting an airbrush. If its going to be an on-going project then you may find that you recuperate the cost relatively quickly. plus you can achieve a hell of a lot more than with a spray can.

Nice modelling so far, as others have said the libby looks good. Though your tank is a razorback not a predator. Your two rhinos if they were bought new please promise me you'll never buy another one, either get a razorback kit or a preadator kit and then magnetize the components, you get more choice for your army without spending extra $$$.

Good luck for the future, looking forward to your progress.

Hmmm. Now that being a razorback changes things... haha. And the rhinos were bought off of The Warstore for 15 bucks a pop, which at the time I needed two, so it was the best deal around for that. And about the airbrush, well I don't know where to start when looking for one...

Being Brit-side I cant really offer many suggestion of places to buy but if you check out either Chung at SM Consortium or Les at AwesomePaintJob they both have extensive video libraries on Where to buy state-side and how to use an airbrush. Most importantly they run through if an airbrush is right for you. Glad you got the rhinos on offer, most of mine are salvaged from ebay so I don't feel so bad .

As for the razrback I suppose you could actually run it as a predator minus the sponsons.

Altright i'll ask around about the air brush. I would salvage all of mine from the bay, but most are older MK's and they annoy me. Lol
