They're going to wipe clean most 10 man units, GEq & MEq, killing 15.
30 swings on the charge
15 hitting
~7.5 wounding, then rerolls, 11 ignores-armor wounds.
Then your termies are sitting in the open with only a 2+/5++ to save them from return enemy fire.
Still with 20 other termies in the pile ...
The Vin will get all of the anti-T attention and not last. Foot slogging tacticals ... well, since you don't have any heavy weapons in them, are they going to squat on objectives or walk behind the Termies?
Given you only have one tank, and people are taking a lot of anti-T these days that's a lot of melta and LasCan fun for them on your termies. Unless, it's all Long Fangs with MLs
then you'll be in good shape.

Drop the chapter master and honor guard. Take Shrike and Lysander (use shrikes chapter tactics). Put shrike with TH/SS terms and infiltrate, put Lysander with 10 regular terminators and 2 cyclone missiles).
Make your LC Termies into TH/SS
Drop the vindicator
Give your Tactical squads heavy and special weapons

Honestly? You're going to get pasted. All your opponent has to do is kill 15 Tactical Marines, get a dread, Kan, Defiler, or anything h2h with an armor value into combat with your Lightning Claw Terminators and you've effectively lost 400 points right there. And your list is 80 points over.
This is far more competitive:
Shrike: 195
Librarian, GoI, Null Zone, Terminator Armor, Storm Shield: 140
10x Thunder Hammer + Storm Shield Terminators: 400
9x Thunder Hammer + Storm Shield Terminators: 360
9x Thunder Hammer + Storm Shield Terminators: 360
10x Tactical Marines, Power Fist on Sarge, Meltagun = 200
10x Tactical Marines, Meltagun = 175
10x Tactical Marines = 170

Don't run that vindicator or honor guard. If your going for CC a vindicator would probably just blow your own guys away. 3 Honor guard will die right away to PW, pretty much just a waste of points. You should invest more heavily in your troop choices, they are severely lacking. Most of your assault terminators should have TH SS but if you want some LC, I suggest putting 4 in a 10 man squad or 2 in a 5 man squad. No point in having a vanilla squad in your list, just go with all assault. If your going to spend 195 points on a Chapter Master, why not throw in an extra 5 for Lysander? He has a mastercrafted TH resolved at S10, gives your army stubborn, has 4 wounds, and is Eternal Warrior. All that for an extra 5 points.

Meh. Overpriced taxi-cab. Costs more than just doubling the number of Terminators. With ~30 Terminators, they're going to get there.

With the number of people who complain, complain, complain that their army can't crack a Land Raider, it's an over-priced taxi-cab?
To the OP, ignore this guy, if you're looking to play 2,500 points, at least grab one Land Raider, best bet: Crusader for an assault squad.

Overpriced. Taxi cab.
Anybody who complains about not being able to crack AV14 obviously is woefully unprepared in regards to anti-tank. I don't know how your meta is, but LRs hardly ever survive past turn 2 where I play.

Hi,
you have only 3x 5 men tac squad, it is too few for 2k army, you have no transports for them and for the rest of your army, so your amry is slow, in first opponent turn he will fire on your vindi and scoring units, take only 1 mixed assault termie squad(5xTH/SS,3xLC) and put them into LRC and use saved point for tac squads, also 1 vindi is weak because of it is alone and always number 1 on enemy shoot list, if you want use it, take 2 or 3 of them.

Given the meta that I read about in forums, and the meta in my local scene ( Los Angeles), there's meltaguns, Lances and LasCans o' plenty. Plasma, too, meaning 5++ for the LC termies. Not the much safer 3++ for TH/ SS termies.
Since your opponents won't be shooting at any other tank besides the short ranged Vin which, depending on deployment could get ignored for a few turns, the LC crew will draw all of the top notch, high STR, great AP guns.
However, I think 30 termies is nothing to sneeze at. Play the list. Take some pictures. Post some batreps and *then* get snooty. *If* you have a few wins.

Dont listen to the kid who says LR is over priced ... Youll definitely want to consider taking something that can move these guys faster ... LR is worth the points in 2k+, will give you some fire power while moving, and get your termies up there safer

Don't get us wrong, 30 terminators is nothing to sneeze at. But between Usunal and myself, I think we may have a point: transports!
Plus, as was said very early on, who plays 2,080 points? you have 420 points to play around with in terms of transports.
save yourself a couple more points by ditching the honour guard.

It reminds me of Pickett's Charge almost.... tac squad marching towards enemy lines and don't make it... Termies advance and get shot down before they get there and the the rest is easy pickings.
You will be slaughtered before you even get there unless you add some speed or more taxi cabs.

Exactly. Terminators do fail 2+ saves. And a good player will make sure they are taking as many 5++ saves they can. Eventually, your jackhammer will have the might of a ballpeen hammer. Especially in 5th edition, things not in vehicles get shot... fast... Automatically Appended Next Post: And terminators, no matter how they are equipped, are bullet magnets. At least an "over-priced taxicab" will take some of the brunt of those bullets!
