Recently i just manually (and painfully) removed most of my older, simpler and uglier paintjob of my CSM models. After a while into this hobby, i realised that being Nurgle based with that insanely annoying t5 has become something i really enjoy and thus wanting my army to theme off papa nurgle.

so the question is this, asides from the usual sick green and stuff, what are other colors that one will use to paint a Nurgle themed army?

im open to suggestions, just not green if possible =D

the goal is more of a pale grey-green. I like the scheme enough that I'm going to do my infantry in the same colors.

I've seen Nurgle look good in a dirtied white scheme as well. While the green/brown is most common, I think any scheme would work well if you make it look dirty enough.

nice paint job man, im trying to do blood blotches. still cant exactly get it right over the plague marines models cuz the wounds are all too tiny to really make it work.

Try using a fine brush with a little of the Baal Red wash. It will fill those holes quite nicely.

Agreed, this process works very well for getting those hard to paint areas.

Concerning paint schemes, while my own Death Guard are the more "traditional" Green/Brown,I've seen some amazing work done that ventures away from this pallet.

...The use of light blues here is quite nice.

Ifuritas Land Raider is another nice example of "Nurgle sans to Much Green/Brown"

...And as you can see in this image, very light....but still obviously "Nurgle".

I am both selfish and chaotic. I value self-gratification and control; I want to have things my way, preferably now. At best, I'm entertaining and surprising; at worst, I'm hedonistic and violent.

Inside your mind, corrupting the pathways

I use a dirty brown/white with green trim for my Nurgle flavoured Marines.
