Stick the lords with the wolves, bum rush and hope you win. Its really a no-brainer army. Your long fangs help out a lot against mech. Against some armies, this list will do great. Against others, not so well. At least its fun to play. Well at least for you, maybe not so much for your opponent.

It's cute, but it needs more Ablative Wolves. Psyker Battlesquads, Dreadnought lists, and FoD Librarians are going to bend you over and violate you.

So as long as you don't run into any Dreadnoughts, Defilers, Guard players, or BA Librarians, you'll be fine.

Yeah, swapped one rhino for saga of the bear on the TH lord, so that he can go smack meph/dreads around with impunity. Forgot it the first time round, thanks for the reminder.

FoD will force me to take an rerollable ld8 test, I think I can live with that. Of course I can try to nullify it on a 5+ first

PBS WILL hurt, Ill just have to try and tough it out, but they arent such a common sight in my meta.

Played marine bikers today, 4 objectives, I fethed up deployment by LOSing most of the board to my own long fangs

Game ended on t6 with me holding one objective, managed to kill off most of his army except for 2 preds. It was a close game though, and if it had ended on t5 I would have lost. Foot armies are at a disadvantage against this list already, so I'd like to test it out against a fully meched up army to see how it does.

Just for fun variety Ive run something close to this, but with TH, PF, FS, WC lords...Ive found the FS is nice for ID on DE/Guard/Eldar at initive and then rerolling 3's to hit and 2s to wound at initive can really freakin hurt.

Yea, it was a pretty tough game. It did also prove that pushing the centre with your wolf lords is the best strategy. My army lacked CC, and had to fall back, leaving you in a good position to use your 24'' threat range. Your list is solid, and PF or TH on all the wolf lords is a good call imo.

Overall, with both armies possessing units with high manouverability, the game turned into a very interesting game of manouvering. Even more so since we were playing objectives. Good game!

Another day, another asswhupping. Played 2 games today both against swolf razorspam (6 lasplas, max long fangs, Thunderlord+TWC deathstar), drew the first (5 objectives, pitched battle) despite having all my lords alive, and my opponent having nothing except 5 grey hunters on the second floor of a building (so I couldnt assault them -.-) Rolled a 1 for my run, and couldnt get onto the objective (was about 5" away) and then the game ended, 1-1 on objectives.

Second game (KP's, spearhead) I fethed up, choosing to move forward with my lords when I could have hung back and blasted away his 2 long fang squads (which he placed pretty far forward, so I could reach them but his lasplas/other squad of fangs couldnt reach me). Instead I advanced, putting my lords/fenrisians in range of his lasplas and other lfang squad. Destroyed his lord and TWC, taking one wound in return, and I had all 4 lords around 12" away from his castled up razors. Suddenly the lords took a whole gakload of wounds thanks to poor rolling, leaving them all with 1 wound. They killed off 2 squads of grey hunters who were bubblewrapping, then all died to mass firepower. Lost 7-5 in the end.

After playing the list for some time, I can say that it is a LOT harder than it looks on paper. What you notice about the list quickly though is that it folds very quickly to bad rolling. On average, it takes 9 ap 1/2 wounds to kill a single lord. Thats 36 to kill all 4. But if you roll shittily, they drop far too quickly for comfort. I'm sure that this sounds whining, but I have to say I've noticed it with this army far more than with any other army I have played. If you roll well (hell, even if your roll according to averages) you do well. I mean REALLY well. But if you roll badly, well, you fold. Fast.

I'm surprised at how well the list has fared so far, now I just have to learn to play it properly

As always, C&C welcome.
