The only music I've ever listened to while gaming is Classical. Anything else is too Hollywood Action Scene and doesn't fit, IMO.
Imagine Guard Commanders sitting back, listening to Classical and Opera, pretending that war is civilized as they pound the enemy with artillery and send countless waves of men to die and talk of high brow minutiae and happenings pertaining to nobles.That's how I see war in the 41 Millenia.
