If a unit that arives from outflanking comes in on a table edge that has models covering the whole side so the outflanker has no way of coming in on that side, does that mean the outflanking unit is destroyed becuz it cant come in on that table edge?

Yes, as per the new FaQ. If a unit can't enter they are destroyed.

It's the same principle as the infamous krootwall.

And last question, do skimmers ignore all of this and just fly over the models?

Yup, they ignore models in the way, same with jetbikes and jumpers.

Doesn't matter, you can still jump over them.

Glad we got this cleared up.

On Dakka he was Eldanar. In our area, he was Lee. R.I.P., Lee Guthrie.

Shame that krootwall won't block outflankers - it's the long edge. That just stops normal reserves.
Outflankers come in via the short sides.

Which is EXACTLY what the OP asked

The principle is the same, though.

I think 17 models on 25mm bases is all it takes to block a short side (assuming a 2" separation. The 17th is purely to put a model into the end corner to block the side completely otherwise they will have a 2" clear zone to come in.).

And just for the hell of it.

Cheesy French git.
And equally culpable Russian player.
