Pretty straight forward question?

My favorites are

1. Halo Series Pelican: I remember playing Halo Combat evolved and every time I saw it it looked so cool plus the concept behind it (I always took it as a mix between a Chinook and a Jet) is something I've always liked.

2. Gears of War King Raven: This is mainly just because the thing looks AWESOME. It dosen't have any windows for the cockpit because the pilots see via external cameras. It's cool to see a helicopter without the tail blades, and it kind og looks like a dragon fly to me. Plus the name is just cool.

3. Halo reach Falcon: The design behind it is great same as the Pelican but this one fits the idea of a Helicopter gunship better. Plus there is the fact that you can actually use this one where so far you can't pilot the pelican. Also it reminds me of the jet copters from that Arnold Schwartzenegger movie where he's cloned and replaced.

Note: I really have no clue why all my favorites are aircraft.

You can fly the pelican (and the phantom) in Reach. There's an easter egg in New Alexandria.

My favourite vehicle would have to be Halo's scorpion tank. I just love the design. Plus the associated quotes (tank beats everything!)

Always got a smile on my face as soon as found a level for the first time through out the Halo games and saw it was going to be with a Scorpion.

Manta from unreal ... there's some thing about being able to flatten you enemy's that's so satisfying.

It has to either be a Warthog or Scorpion.

Warthogs are just so iconic, and once you get the hang of driving them, they become really fun to use (similarly so with the Warthog's hyperactive little brother, the Mongoose). The noise they make is just like the noises you'd make for a jeep as a kid playing army man in the school playground.

Then there's the Scorpion; who doesn't love a tank on 4 TREADS? (There's also an artillety variant that has 6 treads IIRC; the main 4 and an extra 2 for stability.) Everything just pings off it, and the stuff that doesn't gets obliterated.

BOOM! .... BOOM! .... BOOM! .... I've run out of enemies damnit!... BOOM! Friendly Fire! .... BOOM! Goobye Scenery .... BOOM! You commited suicide; but it was fun!

Oh...and the L-5 Riesig walker from Battlefield 2142. Great sound and lighting effects give the feeling of sheer brutality from those miniguns.

The Hyatt Z70, Hammerhead and Bootlegger from Saints Row 2.

I also like the pieced together hotrod from HL2 EP 2

and remember when your flying through Nam in your hopped up killing machine, that shark mouth paint job ALWAYS makes the machine generally more epic.

oh wow ... how could I forget them ... has been awhile since i last played a mechwarrior game ... but really Jenner? i'd have gone with one of the bigger, less ugly and more powerful mechs most likely the Marauder (MW1) or Timber Wolf (MW2)

The Maverick helicopter from GTA Vice city, GTA san Andreas and GTA 4, such a joy to fly. Also the sanchez from GTA vice city and San Andreas, such bouncy and pliant handling plus a joyfully annoying and characterful noise.

Yeah my assumption we where talking about normal sized vehicles, the type in games you can pysically drive in the game.

If we are talking any size, and you don't need to be actually steering it.. I may have to re-evaluate my answer.

My favorite vehicle, the car in Battlefield 2. Why, its just a normal car that's why. There was a battle going on, helicopters firing rockets, tanks blowing people up, and I was just riding around committing vehicular manslaughter.

Yak 9-UT is my favourite vehicle to fly in IL2.

Brillant fighter.

It turns so well and has a decent cannon in the main propeller. Good for when you get on the tail of an enemy plane

Banshee from Halo, with the warthog being my second favorite.
