So iv seen son magnets on kj and on the manufactorum but i dont know what size of magnets to use to magnetize space marine arms so that I can swap out a plasma pistol arm and a bolt pistol for example can anyone help?

I'm nearly there with the kits -- honest!

I play BA myself so this is a high priority for the weekend!

Anyway, assuming all plastic models some 1/16" diameter discs/cylinders are what you need. Also, do you want to be able to swap out the arms, shoulder pads and backpacks?

Personlly, I am a big fan of the 1/8 x 1/32 (D201) disc magnets from K&J. It's probably a little overkill, but the connection will be rock solid.
