Hey guys and gals, i have recently decided to start playing in more tournaments. I have a small venue i travel to to play in now, but im looking for more. Only problem is im having a problem finding them.

I live in NE Texas, not far from Dallas. I currently travel to Shreveport LA to play there. I am looking for events in TX, AR, LA, and possibly OK.

Im just having trouble finding these events.

thanks for any help.

Feasting on the souls of unworthy opponents

Greetings.

When I move to a new place (like I just did), I google for the town and for "miniatures" or "40k" or post a thread over in "Find a game" with the location trying to get the skinny on the area I've moved to. Coincidentally, I just moved to central LA, and Shreveport is about an hour and a half away. =p

If there's a tournament there sometime, let me know and I'll bring my "Dash" shirt and an army.

Back on topic though....once you find out about a store, ask them about other stores in the area. Or ask the players there about other stores in the area. If you can find a hobby lobby or something, they can also direct you to where you need to go to start (closest FLGS) and from there you can expand outwards learning where stores are, and learning their calendars, and when events are. Just do a bit of networking, and start it over in the "Find a game" section.
