I was wondering if anyone know of a hobby blog like the old Black Gobbo E-Zine that had regular updates and had good articles. If not, the alternative is to start one up ourselves. I miss the days of checking Black Gobbo and seeing genuine Hobby material, like conversion articles, masterclass painting, campaign scenarios, battle reports, and the likes. The ones I've seen have warhammer intermashed with a bunch of other things, like video games and comics (neither of which are a bad thing, but I'd rather like more organized material).

seems starting one ourselves might be the best option then.
been thinking along those lines for something fun to do,specially as me and my gaming friends are currently in the midst of a mighty empire campaign with quite a few self written rules i cooked up.
I even have a domain i could use for it if i can get off my arse and get a server.

Check out http://www.fromthewarp.blogspot.com/ FTW does a good job of both posting frequent, high quality content and working with the blogging community as a whole. There are hundreds of blogs linked in through the FTW network & there are weekly features such as the "Tuesday Top Ten" spotlighting the best posts of the past week.

Yes I can second FTW, its a great blog and there's more stuff on there than you can ever have the time to look at!

If Pre-Heresy is your thing, there's a great new blog called 'Before the Heresy' which is collating articles from many of the guys doing Pre-Heresy stuff.

You could use mine I guess. I wouldn't really call it.....hmmm...what's the word? Ah yes....GOOD. Yes, I wouldn't really call it good, but the list of blogs I follow has some pretty nice ones in there for various things. That might be a little more useful to you.
