A Friend of mine has just had an order cancelled for both the Immolator and some Metal Power Armoured Grey Knights.

Is this likely that they have pulled the range, even if they are still up on the site?

Unlikely, seeing as they are re-releasing Grey Knights soon (according to a promo e-mail I got recently.)

SoB may be pulled, as they haven't had a significant update in years, but then again they might just be out of stock. I have had orders of paint and green-stuff cancelled without notice if they have none on hand.

That is what I am hoping, I need one more SoB then I have a usable 800 force, just be a shame if I couldn't finish them.

Well, if they are re-releasing the Knights, I find it quite likely that they would pull the current range like they did to the old Dark Eldar range.

The existence of eBay and trading on forums makes it seem pretty unlikely that you would be legitimately unable to get the last model.

Retributor with Heavy Bolters are not cheap on Ebay, least the lots I have seen. Might have to cast my net out some more. Still be a shame

I'm working on a Sisters army too, so it would be sad to see them go. Still, I think it's unlikely.

Someone I know just got an SoB tank from GW US Direct two days ago. I just checked seconds ago and the full Witch Hunters range is still available on the US site.

Then fingers crossed it is a UK stock issue!

Anyone who thinks it's anything but a stock issue is out of their mind. GW isn't pulling any ranges anytime soon. Grey Knights are confirmed by GW for April so they might be pulling their old metals, but no word on Sisters yet.

I wonder if they'll redo SoB too...

I could even see them pulling the Sisters metals if the moulds had finally degraded beyond GW's threshold of quality, but there's no reason why the Immolator should be affected.

Rumor has it april will be the release of the new Gk codex (no sisters added) and a new army list with kits. The only real question I have is will my GKT (metal) and cpt Stern modles be out dated? In other words was my 15 and 45 bucks spent all for nothing?

I doubt it. GW usually charges the same for plastic and metal termis. Also rumor is the new codex will have 1 wounds termis and 2 wound Paladin termis so you can always use the metal ones as a different unit.

I think things are leaning more towards Necrons and maybe... Tau?... for the rest of 2011.

This I ordered an Immolator and was informed that they had none in stock here so I'd have to wait for them to be shipped over.

Not quite.

Current rumor has them being revised in Plastics, and that the codex is coming later on. Reference the vieled SOB thread, and the Plastic Grey Knights release rumors down below this thred.

Sisters are readily available if you know where to look.

That's not rumor, that's confirmed. GW announced it on their website.

These "DH/WH discontinued" rumours are maybe the most often posted wrong rumours here on Dakka.

Well DH discontinued makes sense - their Codex is out on 4 months.

Just to throw this out there back before the new website launched I tried to get the Everqueen and Maidenguard unit box. I successfully ordered it but then it didn't come in for a few weeks. I was told that I'd have to order it in pieces since the box was out of stock even though you could still order it. Then a few weeks later I got the same shpeel about the individual models. Then it eventually came out that the models were OOP and they had run out of all back supply. So I wouldn't be surprised that SOB stuff is no longer being produced and everything being sold is just them getting rid of old stock and something being up on the website isn't indicative of if it actually physically exists.

This is a no brainer,they are either out because on back log in the manufacturing or the usual.PUll all the old stock because the new Ed. is coming out.GK makes perfect sense,But sisters?They may be closer than people think if they are doing that.Now all you have to do is do some web searching for an independant stockist.Try mini wargaming out of canada they might have some if not.Try bartertown or here for used.Good luck on your search try hard you will find you some.Alot of people are selling theirs off because of the new ones coming out.Done got rid of mine 6 months ago when you could get a good price.

IIRC i just got an email reguarding some delayed orders with GW myself. It is more than likely due to the fact that companies are still getting out of the holiday backlog, because of all the digital gift vouchers and whatnot they had to respect from the holiday season, get a hold of GW and they will probably tell you the same thing they did me, and tell you that it will not be in stock until Friday, at which time the items in question will be shipped.
