They obviously have a scrimech. If comprehensive school robot designers can think of it surely it would be included on a suit of advanced fighting armour.
Thinking of how it would work though... they may not be fast but they are built for strength. I assume they could just bend at the hip with ease when on their back, then just push themselves up with shear strength.
I'm both orderly and rational. I value control, information, and order. I love structure and hierarchy, and will actively use whatever power or knowledge I have to maintain it. At best, I am lawful and insightful; at worst, I am bureaucratic and tyrannical.

I can see Goto writing a story and including a terminator back-flipping off of the land raider he was surfing while firing his multilazor into a group of Chaos-worshiping Eldar.
This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.
There is a BIG differance between running after enemies and getting up after falling down. To my knowledge there are 2 examples of a Terminator falling in books 1 was in one of the HH books and the Terminator got up with the help of his squad mates, the other was one of the DoW books where a Terminator Seargent was fighting a Dark Reaper Exarch. I forget how but they ended up on the ground and the Seargent got up by rolling over, pushing up with his arms, bringing one leg forward and pushing him self up (like a push up mentioned earlier).
Getting up as described I can imagine, given their super strength. The rolling over to do so if on their back is another thing. It isn't some much a weight/strength issue as the limitations of articulation the armour and weapons would present.
Am trying to imagine how the armour would work if the Termie tried to roll and at the monment he is getting up. But my head is still a bit groggy and struggling to picture Termie armour in detail. I still reckon they would be okay.
Warboss, so Termies fall in books but do the fall in love?

I imagine it would be no different than a normal human getting up. This suits are hardwired to their nervous system. I'm sure they articulate just as well as normal bodies do.

This guy's right. If you only saw photos of humans, you might not suspect they could get themselves up either. We don't see Terminators actually moving, just snapshots.
"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."
This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

When people ask, "What's the point in understanding everything?" they've just disqualified themselves from using questions and should disappear in a puff of paradox. But they don't understand and just continue existing, which are also their only two strategies for life.
Not convinced that SM's armour is well articulated Dave.
Doesn't count that the suit is wired to the body.
So is a tortoises's. (Turtles to you! and that isn't meant to sound rude! )
How would a human look like it couldn't get up, especially knowing how the joints articulate?
It is a matter of conjecture with SM's because we don't have the knowledge of how the armour articulates.
As drawn and modelled I have doubts whether fiull human articulation is possible.
The design is based on the rule of cool, not ergonomics!
The difficulty with terminator amror is that it looks like their isn't alot of movement in the torso and back. This means getting up is dependant on only the arms and legs. This might sound easy, but articulation of the core is more important than it seems.
Ask yourself: have you rated a gallery image today?
That is the thing, Mr.N
If you roll over, the rotation of the shoulder and twist of the chest and stomach are very important.
Even not very supple old me can twist my shoulder into my chin
don't think this fellow will be able to perform such a lateral movement with the upper arm.
I think we can just file this one under the same catagory as "how the hell do they fit in the armour with their shoulders above their head" and call it a day.

... Well, you see, that Power Fist slams into the ground, generating enough force to propel the Terminator...
I'm not sure. However, I do agree with filing this under Farnir's aforementioned topic.

Mattieu~~~~ It's not that eldar are bad, it's that they require a lot of intergration between units. Also, that doesnt prove anything other than GW has a huge hard-on for marines, and, given the option between making a xeno the best psykers or making a marine the best psyker, they will 9 times out of 10 choose the marine.
