I got this model from someone who was dumping a Guard lot. One of the many deals I made for him was that I would sell his stuff on eBay if I could have this model. I do not know how old it is, but the copyright on the bottom of the base is 1991. It is slightly larger than a normal 40k human.
He just looked so cool I had to snatch him and paint him for my Jokers Regiment.
Does anyone know how old this model is?

Never seen that model before.
Either it's a custom build or it's not 40K (the eagle on the hat ain't no Imperial Aquila, that's for sure).

Actually, it's one of those short sticks, not a cigar. It it tucked under his arm. It didn't look like anything snapped off it.
The base has "GW 1991" on the bottom, but someone could have put it on a GW base. It is a single pewter model, so there wasn't any kit bashing.
Even though the eagle isn't right, the shoulder-boards and the thing around his neck are consistent with the GW commissars.

The sculpting isn't, though.
I know this chap has been discussed around here before, but I can't remember where he wound up being from. The sculpting looks consistent for the Demonblade Shockforce range, which featured a lot of fairly blatant 40K knock-offs..
