i think the design is pretty bad but after building the kit i see conversion potential and alot of it. Also putting some colour to it thats not Bright BA red which is just way to much I think it turns out pretty cool. If you plan on running death company a black themed raven will look great. Check out the pics on my Blog

nothing in the SM codex is streamline and sexy looking. everything is built to kill not look good going it. But the stormraven looks ok with the BA paint but IMO the grey knights colors look worse IMO. it needs more color.

The Stormraven looks like a chibi Thunderhawk to me.

A well done paint job; personally I think the way you painted it looks better than the BA red.

I'm not sold on this model but i have yet to see one in the flesh (or plastic) so I reserve a small amount of my judgement. it is very much like a mini thunderhawk which just dosen't work it looks to much like they started building a thinderhawk and got bored after they built the front section.

It looks good. First good painted shot I have seen. Would be nice if you could add it to the gallery so we can view it here.

If I get one, I am painting it up a darker color. That seems to fix a lot of the problems.

Also, I just noticed why I like it. Its missing that stupid intake vent. And the turret is gone. Could you get a shot with the razorback turret in it?

with the turret on it looks like "the short bus thunderhawk". taking the top turret off and dropping its profile by 2 inchs turns it into "the little thunderhawk that could" which i can live with

I agree, without that top turret the kit looks much better.

Should be fun to re-model. Now I kinda want to get one

Looks ok. But the plastic grey knights made my eyes pop-out.

I see...the plastic knights are like the metal ones.
