How do you keep your feet warm without socks or slippers in the house?

Socks seem to cut off circulation in my feet.

Fuzzy slippers make my feet sweat.

Any suggestions?

Well, if you have a pet dog or cat (though I imagine a dog would work better), you can always use them as a foot warmer.

A mate of mine wears sports stocking (Compression sock, I think is the technical term). They are a thick nylon or cotton I think and keep the feet covered and warm but allow for a good amount of air follow.

They make you sweat a bit, but not as much as one would think.

If you've got cash to burn I say go for the heated floors.

Probably only ten thousand bucks or so to install. . . pretty reasonable I'd say.

And your monthly heating bill might go up a couple grand, but think of it as an investment. The constant toastiness your feet will experience is more than worth it.

You can also expand your slipper search. A good pair of moccassins should keep your feet warm without having too much fuzzy lining.

Erm, two pairs of socks? Seriously it works.

I have this problem, but can not stand the thought of wearing slippers like some old geezer. I'm and ageist what can I say!

I also let the Mrs buy whatever rugs she fances which helps (might have been cheaper to get the underfloor heating!).
