I was wondering how long it would take before the Counts-as IG posts would start.

When the greens get into the office, i'll post a scale pic next to a Cadian. I believe they'll be alittle big for regular Grunts, but they might be right for Ogryn.

Metal, we'd love to do plastics but Renedra is not in our budget at the moment.

So how is the game system for these models?

Scyzantine Empire

Very fun, easy to learn and fast to play. List building is pretty simple and once you've got the numbers down, it goes quick. For some reason, determining damage/wounds was the hardest thing for me to learn but I think that's a personal difficulty since everyone I played could tally them instantly.

The individual army's rules are dynamic and different enough that there are multiple valid/balanced builds and no one army really trumps another, though I am biased towards Scyzantines with a Sandguard/Seige Tortoise list.

In a token effort towards transparancy, I admit that I did assist with game design and playtesting.

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money

"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell

Well, I'm alittle biased, but I quite enjoy it.

Its a historical parody skirmish game, low to high model count depending on how you wish to play. The warband boxes we sell are meant to be starter sets and can easily be all you ever need to buy to play (though we'd go hungry...), or you can scale up to higher point levels and play something like 40k's model counts. Some of the more unique gameplay elements are alternating activations with non-set squads. Ex: You have 5 Bull Regulars on the table, you can choose to activate 1-5 (lets say 3 of them) of them now, do everything you want with them, and then your opponent gets to activate something of his, then its back to you to activate the other 2, this continues until you've both activated everything on the table. Next turn you can Activate all 5 of them at once, or just 1 at a time. This gives you the ability to splits squads up and move about more tactical.

We have the quick start rules up on our website & wargame vault. The current rulebook (Historia Rodentia) contains 8 factions (including base sizes for all models to allow proxying for unreleased models) and retails for $24.99 (or $14.99 for PDF)

Speaking of this, Cyporiean, is there a way we can mix factions in game? I'd love to do a Weenie and Fox combo force.

There are rumors that 'Dachs the Badger Hunter' will be getting a model down the line.

There are rules for taking various models as mercs, I don't think the Fox Shinobi are currently on that listing, but if there was demand for them to be, i'm sure it could be worked into things.

You know I have to give you guys credit, you are really improving on your models. I like these cheers.

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!

Our current plans are for Late March/Early April (Adepticon) along with the Shaka War Hog & redone Badger-At-Claw, the more orders/preorders we get the faster sooner they'll get released (Baring any molding issues).

Well, if the heads aren't a good size match for normal IG, I suggest your next product should be some which are. Ditto for cat heads and a few others - I reckon they'd sell well to IG players bored looking for something a little different, either for a complete army or just an unusual squad, e.g. abhumans counting as Penal Battalion.

Our plans are to finish getting out models for our game, rather then fill in GW's gaps. MAS/Maxmini/Chapterhouse can handle that front.
