Hi guys,
With the legion of the damned how could you get a heavy flamer for one to carry with out getting the actual model (saving money)? I have a friend that does imperial guard and he has spare heavy flamers. Could I just use that with a normal legionnaire?

Aren't they all just 1-pieced metal models? Not easy to convert.

If you can get a heavy flamer bit from the plastic Terminators box (or from a bit seller), you'll be better off. Just carve off the upper arm/shoulder and put in a regular SM arm/shoulder and you'll be golden.

IF it is difficult, I'm up for the challenge but I might just get the IG Heavy Flamer ( that is what he does ) is that close enough to the space marines one?

IIRC one of the models with bolt gun has a seperate arm - you might be able to convert him?

Ok take some heavy flamer from ig throw some spikey bits on it, use some chain (necklaces work great, from like you sister, wife, gf, or you idk) give it a nice wrap boom chaos flamer oh btw if its you like the way the chain looks put it on after you paint it

Legion of the Damned aren't Chaos, they're SM; maybe you're think of the Lost and the Damned.

If you're want the flamer to look as close as possible to metal LotD figure, you the Space Marine Terminator Heavy Flamer arm bit. You could swap out or trim down the Terminator arm part of the bit.

I haven't bought it yet for my army yet. I hope it comes with a separate arm!

You could always take a hobby knife to a regular Adeptus Astartes, add a little Green Stuff, and paint it black. Presto! Cheapness!
