I have never tried OSL before, and since I am just starting to paint my SW army, I decided to try it out
Tell me what you think

Also, the black marks on his head is my attempt at making a cool tattoo. Should I get rid of it, or no?
(There is minor osl on the plasma pistol, its kinda hard to see)

Leave the deepest recesses filled in in their original color; light won't always make it there. What I do for OSL is get a brush as dry as I can make it, then drybrush/rub the entire area I want to light in say, a dark green. Then I do a lighter green rub in the inner area, then a white one closest to the source.

Alright, thanks.
I'll go make the band(?) or w/e the claws are mounted on silver again, and try your idea with the brush.
