Not new champions, so much as the rerelease of Chaos Champions from the Realms of Chaos era.

Not even "champions" just warriors. Nice to see new paint on classic models though!

They've aged well. *insert reference to price and sculpts being 20+ years old.*

None of them are god specific. Those models are the champions.

Omadon's Realm

Those are old chaos warriors, back in the days of 3rd edition fantasy.

The champions etc came a few years after with the Realm of Chaos tomes.

I already own some of the original lead casts of those Chaos Warriors from 20 years ago. Glad to see them available again, they are the model range that got me hooked on GW. And I'm pretty happy that GW used another one of my modeling projects on What's New Today to help promote them. Chaos will always be my favorite model range.

Seeing these makes me want to break out the old Chaos Warriors from Hero Quest and paint them up anew. Might well do that in fact...

Would like to see more of the old "classic" models come back. As long as they only bring back the Goodwin sculpts, everything else is pretty bad.

The model on the lower left (holding the two axes) very much resembles an old Chaos warrior figure from the original Hero Quest box set. I do wish I still had that...

The models have held up nicely I think!

Great models.

They need to do more of these re-releases.

Make more of their vast catalog easily (though expensive) available.

As I said on another thread, they aren't the most interesting sculpts.

They are fairly crude, there's no undercut at all on most parts which makes shading and defining different parts of the armour rather difficult. I recently did my four styled as the following the four gods.

I picked up a handful of these off of ebay. People are going to be surprised by how small these are compared to modern figures. Not that I don't prefer them over the new plastics.

Yea, it would mostly be for fun nostalgia to see how much pretty I can put into them, though come to think of it I think they all have silver enamel on them from the first time I painted them when I was 10... that might be a bit beyond Simple Green
