Hey guys .... been workin on a new wolfs army ... 13th co ... but in the paint right now is a few fists ... tell me what you guys think !! .... the base is just temp ... will be moved to our bases when done .... for some reason the lighting wasn't that great this time .... might hafta take better picts..

The yellow/black contrast looks a bit dramatic. I would change the colour of the shoulder trims to red or blue, and just generally try to remove as much black area as possible.

Yeah .... it was a toss up on the black vs the red ... maybe ill try a few in red .... see what that does .... what do ya think of the yellow? took a few tries to get that ...

Are you able to take any pictures under a clearer white light? It's hard to tell what the proper colours are....

That looks much better. Personally I like the black and yellow but I think the wash on the yellow looks a little heavy.

Clowns being known for their utilitarian black shoes.

I think they look solid. That amount of black with the yellow reminds me of some Emperor's Scythes armies I've seen, but it's not that important. Get some Fist symbols on there and it won't matter.

Are you intentionally painting the outside of the respirator black?

I'd recommend painting the inner rim of the shoulder pad trim black rather than leaving it yellow. Maybe get a little more control over your washing so you get less awkward pooling. Solid though, like I said.

Thanks guys !! ... the next few will be much lighter on the wash!! ... you guys are awesome !! thanks for all the comments. Yeah the mouth piece is now boltgun drybrushed. that helped as well ... the Yellow is really what were trying to get down so its repeatable on large quantity. wanted the detail to be a bit different ... but we can paint the detail the traditional way as well.

Looks awesome! Glad the wash is lighter than the original pic. I love the red bases...really ties it together with the red on the minis. Keep up the good work!

Those are really good pictures. Nice paint, would like to see some converting from these well known models.
