Hello me again,

was looking at GW website tactica. It says giving Chosen shields would increase their armour to 2+, as far as I know its 4+ and adding a shield would be 3+, so where does the 2+ come from?

Another thing, it says, GWs hit last, unless their charging. I thought they always hit last.

Please clarify Dakka!

That's 7th edition tactica.
You used to get +1 armor save from a shield, and another +1 when fighting to the front in melee.
Now you get +1 armor save, and a parry (6+ ward to the front against most, but not all attacks).

The great weapon is also 7th edition; charging used to go before init 10, but after Always Strike First.

No problem. They needed to drop that tactica really, as it does make things confusing....

As a rule, GW isn't the best place for quality tacticas, their stuff tends to be either in accurate or not tactically sound against a reasonably skilled opponent.
