Right, the mini of the month competition for February 2011 is on!

The theme for this month is leaders. HQ's, sergeants, whatever, as long as it can lead a squad it's viable to enter.

Feel free to post any submissions here, but if they want it to be submitted, it needs to be P.M'd to me. You do not need to make a new mini specifically for this, you are allowed to use an existing one. One entry per user max, please.

The deadline for entries is February 25th (giving myself a few days to judge) at 10pm EST, 7pm PST (3am on the 26th for those in the UK).

The winner (judged by me) will recieve kudos and praise, and a thread dedicated to the mini.

Happy painting!

:EDIT:

If you want your mini to be entered into the competition, it must be PM'd to me by the above date.

8 hours remaining, folks. Get those entries in whilst you still can.

Of course. As long it's a leader-type unit, you can use any minis you want.

Everywhere I'm not supposed to be.

Well isn't that just convenient. I happen to be working on an HQ choice and I'm trying out a LOT of new techniques on him. May have to make a submission...

If you need me, I'll be busy wiping the layers of dust off my dice.

Any size or basing restrictions?
Without giving anything away, was wanting to know if a model on a 60mm would be ok.

I have one... did him a while ago, but I'm pretty proud. Not thinking he'll win (Not by a long shot) but still, here goes nothing!

No illusions of winning, but still, what do you think?

Could we maybe get a shot of the complete model rather than just close ups? Other than that it looks cool.

@۞ Jack ۞: Any base is fine, as long as it's a squad leader/HQ unit.

@ghosty: Looking good just remember to PM it to me if you want it to be entered.

Are we allowed to submit multiple minis? Apologies if this is a noob question :(

One entry per person, I'm afraid.

Pick the one that you think looks the best, and PM it to me

:EDIT:
Don't worry about it being "nooby" or anything.

Everywhere I'm not supposed to be.

Sadly, due to a hectic work schedule and the weather not getting along with said schedule, I was not able to get home in time to photograph the mini I wanted to enter.

If you need me, I'll be busy wiping the layers of dust off my dice.
