ok so I first noticed this point reading this months WD but there is na point in the rules for the stormravens slkies of blood special rule that merrits attention the rule allows blood angels models on board the stormraven to disembark by effectively jumping out even after the stormraven has gone flat out, you nominate a point that the SR has moved over and roll as if deep striking at that point, models that scatter all must take dangerous terrain tests, the interesting bit refers to models with jump packs and reads as follows:
Models with jump packs can make a more controlled descent - not only do they not take dangerous terrain tests (unless they land in dangerous terrain), they can use the descent of angels special rule to make a more accurate landing.
Now the only models in the dex who carry the special rule descent of angels are the regular assault squad and the sanguinary guard, but the RAW wording of skies of blood indicates that any squads with jump packs can use the rule in that instance, so therefore allowing honour guards or vanguard vets or death company with jump packs to use it too, If not it would be worded; if squads with the descent of angels special rule are disembarking they may use it to increase their accuracy, or something like that. Is that how any one else interprets it?

DoA is a blood angel special rule that applies to all models in the army with jump packs. It's in the codex page 62 under jump pack

look under the jump pack entry in the BA codex... every model with a BA jump pack gets DoA. its a bit confusing since they split the complete wording of the rule between two spots and it's missed frequently.

ah i've never bothered to read the BA wargear entry for jump packs never i thought that seeing as how it is listed as a special rule on the entries of assault marines and the sanguinary guard it was unique to them,
seems a bit silly to me that every jump pack in pretty much every codex is exactly the same whether marine or not but the ba one is different it would have made more sense to make DoA a BA special rule and word it so it says: any blood angel equipped with a jump pack can blah blah blah when deep striking.

Organizationally it definitely would have made sense to make it an army-wide special rule applying to any BA model with a jump pack. Still, this is basically what it is; it's just kind of tucked away.
