I was wondering if it would be possible for the images to have voting disabled on them by default?

I like to browse and vote on some of the great work on there, but at times I may have to skip somewhere around 10 WIP, which look like they are basically for blogs or whatever, with no notable conversions done on them. Just thought I'd ask.

I would second this. People who want their pictures voted on won't mind clicking a button to enable it; everyone else won't care.

The vast majority of WIP or unvoteable images are now getting voting disabled as they are approved by moderators. The current issue is the backlog of 150K or so images that came in before this policy was in place, so it will be a slow, but gradual improvement as we play catch up.
