I first got interested in 40k back in '91 when I got Space Marine 2nd edition with all those insanely small figures, but reading through the fluff in the manual soon had me heading out to pick up the larger 40k models, although I didn't actually start playing till the release of 2nd edition, which if I remember right had two 10 man tac squads 10 irks and 20 gretchin...
Anyway was looking back over the years and found a great picture of an old land speeder back when they were a couple of chairs strapped to a jet engine, it looked amazing at the time... Not so sure not... So was wondering what was your favourite old models?

I am moving the thread to 40K General Discussion.
I still like the old Beakies and have plenty of them. At the time, 30 models for £10 was good value.
