I am going to be using Necron Abyss to basecoat my figs but I am unsure what highlight colours I should be using. I haven't bought any of the highlights yet and don't want a bunch sitting because I bought the wrong ones, so I am hoping some of you experienced colour guys could help.

I am thinking the first highlight would be Liche Purple, followed by a second highlight of 1:1 Liche Purple and Enchanted Blue. Possibly using Leviathan Purple wash to bring it all together. Does that sound about right?

Hi you may want to add some more details to get some responses like, What models do you want to paint? Is there a theme or end result you are looking for?

Hmmm, well, I am painting Terminators and I am going for the Dark Angels look (more extreme style highlighting) but in purple instead of green.

Warlock Purple or Liche Purple would probably be the best bet. The next lightest shade of the same color is usually all you need to think about for highlighting.
