Its 120-130 points of
manz, in a 35 point trukk. But 155 points for a unit that scares most things is pretty decent.
Also, 11 boyz +
PK nob is 142 without common upgrades like the ram and bosspole.
So they cost about the same. The real issue is the boyz don't really do much other than give up many casualties in
CC, and maybe kill a couple of guys. The
Manz can hunt nearly anything (stay away from S8 and
PWs if possible...), since they are
CC lascannons.
So, 4
PK attacks on the charge, or 12? There is a reason why I don't run many boyz anymore.
As for the OPs question, burna boyz can't take trukks, and having them steal a boyz truk is not a good idea for many reasons. Regular nobs either cost too many points to put them in a cardboard box, are aren't actually good enough to waste a slot on. They aren't much better than boyz unless you spend points on them, then they end up costing more than
Manz. So you need to give them enough upgrades to be better than
manz, which puts them around 200-400 point unit, which means they should be in wagon.
Also there is the issue of the
FOC chart, are the
MANz or Nobz troop choices? What other elites are you running, what is the rest of the list going to do? There is a big issue with orks and the elite slot, there are too many good units in it, and what choices you make effect your
HQ,
HS, and what your army theme is going to be. In fact my personal opinion an ork list starts in its elite slots. The rest either supports the elites, or are just filler.
