IRON WITHIN, IRON WITHOUT.

New Heavy Gear Log! Also...Grey Knights!
The correct pronunciation is Imperial Guard and Stormtroopers, "Astra Militarum" and "Tempestus Scions" are something you'll find at Hogwarts.

lawls,

I hope you have a nice trust fund to be able to afford a Krieg Army.

Plan to spend at least $400/$500+ for a 2000 point army.

Far more than that, $500 won't even get you a Cadian based 2000pt Mech IG list. IG in general are expensive.

The amount of Death Korps models you can own is directly proportional to the number of extraneous organs you're willing to sell.

Thank you all for telling me. This is probably another stupid question but im new to all this. Are all the models on forge world games workshop ones?, i mean like official ones that can be used and stuff like that. One more thing since its all in pounds does it automaticly convert it to dollers when i order, i no i sound stupid but i never ordered from a site thats in pounds.

Forgeworld and Games Workshop are closely related. I thought Forge World was a subsidiary of Games Workshop, though the owner of one of the local game stores insisted they weren't when talking about them. Tourneys and whatnot may not allow Forgeworld rules, like the things in Imperial Armor or the variant Krieg rules (though if you had a fully painted Krieg army, local tourneys may allow it simply because of the awesomeness of the models and the absurd expense of building one; failing that Krieg can still be used as normal IG, though if you kitted them out with laspistols and swords (which you can do with their variant rules) they might cause some confusion with your opponents), but the models themselves? No one should care about that.

Look up the conversion rate for pounds if you want to know what things cost. Whether or not your payment method would automatically convert to pounds depends on the payment method, and I can't comment on the specifics.

FW is a subdivision of GW, FW is part of GW, everything they make is considered to be Citadel mini's and Games Workshop product. You will have no problems using the mini's at any GW event, though the rules will be a different manner since most GW events keep to the codex/brb convention out of simplicity.

I hate it when I have to buy from FW because of the postage cost.

That kills me when I want bigs lots.

I was lucky enough to have free postage for my order over 150GBP 2 years ago.

But yeah If you wanting a Krieg army its gonna cost you a bit of cash.

Mind you FW resin minis are really detailed to GW plastic minis and are enjoyable to paint.

Order over 250 GBP ($450 usd) and postage is FREE!

That'd be about 1100-1300 pts of DKOK!

Paying full price on FW models is no fun, especially with a 15% shipping cost tacked on. Even a 1k army is expensive, but if you take your time and build up over a long period of time it's doable.

Keep going.

A $56 for a squad it's easy to go way over that. Just the cost of weapon upgrade packs can run to hundred of dollars.

IIRC, they weren't when they started, but are now.
