I figured I should say howdy. I am not technically new to 40k (i have had figures for more than 12 years) but I only played a couple 2nd edition rules games back in the day and I have played a total of 2 games of the current edition. I'm hoping to kind of build my interest here as the only local gamers here seem to be sci fi guys (I play historical but have to go a long way for games). Anyways, I have been lurking here for about a week and thought it was time to say hi!

Welcome back, Brother Veteran! I've been watching more and more of us (us = old timers) coming back to the game since I've been on Dakka. I was gone for 11 years. I stopped just after 3rd came out (never played it though) and came back thanks to a friend of mine asking for a "one off" game. Yeah. One game. Ha.
Would love to see your 2nd ed stuff, I really like the "feel" the old miniatures have. The new stuff is amazing, but my heart is with the stuff I started with.
